Boggs, an ex-Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner &amp; Smith registered representative, has <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/chicago.suntimes.com\/crime\/2021\/3\/19\/22340719\/former-merrill-lynch-adviser-pleads-guilty-3m-fraud\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pleaded guilty to wire fraud<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the federal criminal case accusing him of defrauding former customers of $3M. The ex-Chicago financial advisor admitted to using the money to fund his lavish lifestyle. He faces up to 20 years in prison and will be sentenced in June.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Boggs spent his entire 12 years in the industry working for Merrill Lynch.
