Bank of New York Mellon (BNY Mellon) was the trustee for these Barclays ETNs.<\/p>\n

These synthetic debt instruments were connected to futures on the CBOE Volatility Index (VIX). They were meant to offer short-term exposure to equity market volatility and would not have been suitable for retail investors.<\/p>\n
