The law firm Shepherd Smith Edwards and Kantas is offering free case consultations to help affected investors explore legal claims against the brokerage firm for failed supervision and selling away.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.finra.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FINRA<\/a>) has suspended two former Columbia Capital Securities financial advisors for 10 months for allegedly\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.investorlawyers.com\/selling-away.html\">improperly selling\u00a0<\/a>$8 million in promissory notes from a private equity fund in which they purportedly had conflicts of interest.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/brokercheck.finra.org\/individual\/summary\/6031164\"><strong>Josiah D. Jennings<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/brokercheck.finra.org\/individual\/summary\/4855771\"><strong>William N.
